Okay, today, I went into the Barnes and Noble looking for Sex In The City by Candace Bushnell. I wanted to read the OG story before I read The Carrie Diaries.
Anyhoo, somehow, I went from talking about Sex In The City to talking about The Nook. Then, I found myself putting the book back to getting The Nook.
WTF! It happened soooo fast. The sales clerks-notice I said clerks because they ganged up on me-went into a super sales presentation. That coupled with the fact that I've been dying to get one since Christmas had me telling the clerk to stop talking and start ringing up the sale. I told the cashier that if he took too long, I'd walk out without spending a dime! Well, in less than a minute, I had a BNN bag and a phat charge on my debit card.
The prices I pay to be a book whore....Yay me!
9 Talk to me!:
This is too funny! And I can totally understand.
I hope you enjoy your Nook as much as I love my Kindle!
LOL! Yeah, the sales clerks got a good laugh off of me-after they made the sale.
I have one too and I AM ADDICTED to it! I just downloaded Lover Mine on to it and can hardly wait to finish what I'm reading so I can get started on it!
I've already saved in gas/the cost of the actual book form/etc. what I spent on it and I'm off to download a couple more after I leave this comment!
Enjoy!
I love it too! I've already loaded it with songs and pix. Just hate that I can find a cover for it without having to order one.
That's how I got my nook too...i went in for a book and left with some books AND a nook!
Death to Barnes and Noble employees! LOL! They R to be avoided at all costs. Next time, let's go in with our heads down and avoid all eye contact and all "can I help you".
LOL Gurl!! It's ok, you deserved it!!!
How do you like your Nook? I'm hoping to get one for Mother's Day *fingers crossed*.
Once I figured out how to work it, I love it.!
