"What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?"
I have noticed that I get quite a few new followers when I hold contests, but when some new followers don't win, they unfollow. I'm cool with this because I don't want people to follow just because I'm having a contest, I want them to follow because they actually like my blog and reviews.
I admit that I have stopped following blogs because they only post every blue moon or if when they visit me, they only leave a comment just to promote what they have going on at their blog.

Like you, I don't want people to follow me just because I have contests. I like it when they follow my blog because they enjoy reading what I write about!

I agree and it's for these same reasons that I've reduced my participation in memes. It is a great way to find new blogs or even introduce mine, but I'd like to have my reviews read as well. :-)

I'm always a little bummed when I lose followers but make every effort to
turn every lost follower into a learning experience so I can improve my
performance.
On the flip side, I only stop following people when they give me a reason to
such as being totally off message or being too controversial in an negative,
over-the-top way.
