Good morning bookish peeps.  It's time for In My Mailbox, a meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren.  I haven't gotten any review books in the mail for quite a while, but I've done some book shopping.  I hit up my local Barnes and Noble and and found a few good reads on sale.  I also stopped at Book Traders, my new fav used book store and picked another book.  For some reason I was on a chick lit high because those seemed to be the only titles that attracted me.  So here's what I got.  What did you get in your mailbox this week?

Good morning!  In My Mailbox is hosted by the super fab Kristi @ The Story Siren.

I only bought one book last week and that's Waiting To Exhale. I've had several copies of the book, loaned them to someone, can't remember who, but never volunteered to five them back so I just got a new one.  I really wanted a hardback, but couldn't find one so for now I've settled for the paperback which I will soon reread. I loved this book and movie back in the day.

I got Die For Me from Net Galley a while ago, but forgot to mention.  I requested it because I liked the book summary, but as I read the reviews I realized it was about zombies.  Eek!  Not a zombie fan, but judging from the reviews, I may become one...we'll see.

I also borrowed Lover Unleashed and Sweet Valley Confidential.  Yay!  I've been wanting to read both, but was trying to wait until my library got them. Both books have mixes reviews so really anxious to see what all the fuss is about.  Thankfully someone loaned me ebooks to read.  Now my Nook will be very happy that I will getting to spend more time with it instead of neglecting it for paperbacks.

I didn't buy anything this week because I'm still trying to work through my review TBR and books that I've purchased and never had a chance to read.

I did get one cool little package yesterday.  I received Blood Of A Werewolf for review and some cool bookmarks.  I think I had only read one review on this book before I was asked to review it, but I liked the book summary so I'm looking forward to reading it.

Diva Mail (15)...And Some Freebies For Your Mailbox

Good morning, blog buddies!  It's Sunday and time for my version of In My Mailbox, which is hosted by the evah soo cool Kristi @ The Story Siren.  IMM is a weekly meme showcasing the bookish things that you won, recieved for review, or bought.  Kristi is taking a break but will be back in the new year so there won't be a linky list to follow, so if you stop by, just leave me a link to follow you back to your IMM.

While I was Christmas shopping last week, I couldn't keep my feet from moving to the book section.  On my Christmas budget, I was able to get two really good books from my wishlist.

Haunted By Your Touch  has short stories from Jeaniene Frost and Shayla Black-two of my fav paranormal authors.  I've only read one story by Shari Kohler so this is another chance to sample her work.

Ecstasy In Darkness is by Gena Showalter, another one of my fav paranormal authors.   Love her Alien Huntress series and the reviews have been all good.

I also got two books for review.  I lurvs the cover and the quirky summary for A Brush Of Darkness (releasing Jan 25th), so I was really excited to get it.  The other book I got is Spirit Storm, which is the sequel to She Smells The Dead.  I also loved this cover too and can't wait to continue with Yuki's story (btw, this is already out on Kindle).
